Staff Attendance
This feature utilizes Geolocation and Device ID, automates and streamlines the clock-in and clock-out process.
When a staff member arrives at school, their device (smartphone or tablet) is recognized by its unique device ID.
The system then checks if the device's current geolocation falls within a pre-defined virtual boundary
around the school premises (a geofence). Upon confirming both the device ID and geofence proximity,
the staff member is automatically clocked in.
The same process applies for clocking out when leaving the school.
This ensures accurate timekeeping, prevents "buddy punching", and provides real-time attendance data to school administrators.
The system can also include features like alerts for late arrivals or early departures,
detailed attendance reports,
and integration with payroll systems for efficient salary processing.
